Eco-Market Workshop

Established four years ago, EcoMarket Workshop educates grade school students on the environmental responsibility of businesses while teaching free market principles. The workshop consists of interactive presentations, followed by group activities that encourage students to apply the concepts in the lesson. Some activities have the studens create products out of recyclable materials and participate in a mock auction, in which students attempt to “sell” their products to the class, their “customers.” This year, EcoMarket is working to build a green house at a local school.
